Ray Steelman is passionate folk musician, writer, and teacher. They have been fascinated with music since they were a young child, and began writing music in 2010. Ray’s music is strongly influenced and inspired by the natural environment and humanity. Their writing is simple and creative, utilizing environmental inspiration, such as a dryer hum, to create a musical landscape within which to sing. Ray encourages people to enjoy their music wherever they are, whether quietly sitting by a river or singing with friends. They are grateful to everyone who has listened to their songs and have shared their musical journey with them, from each live performance, group jam, all their collaborators and listeners – thank you and see you soon!
